8/24 – Coaches Retreat and Training (Afternoon plus Dinner)

Mid August as Determined by site – Goal Setting for Competitive Swimmers

8/26 – First Day of Practice for 2008-2009  Season

8/30 – 9/1 – Labor Day Holiday (Consolidated Practice on Saturday)

9/13 – STAR Intra-squad Meet @ YWCA in Winston (all swimmers may participate)

9/13 – STAR Family Cookout following Intra-squad Meet

10/4 & 5 – NCS House of Delegates

11/26-30 – Thanksgiving Break (AM Practice on 11/26 and Combined Practice on 11/29)

12/24-28 – Christmas Holiday (Combined Practice on 12/27)

1/1 – New Year’s Day/No Practice

1/2 – All Night Practice

1/10 – STAR Holiday Party

3/28 – STAR Spring Banquet

3/30-4/5 – STAR Spring Break – No Practice (Winston Salem)

4/5 – NCS Spring House of Delegates

4/13-4/19 – STAR Spring Break – No Practice (Guilford County)

4/17-19 – NCS Select Camp/Banquet

5/25 – Memorial Day (No Practice)

****Senior and Age Group Trips will occur in Middle of June***

8/7 – Last Day of Practice for 2008-2009

8/25 – First Day for 2009 – 2010 Season
